Deposits and Final Payments

A 25 percent deposit is required to reserve a yacht if the booking is made more than six months in advance of the departure date. A second 25 percent deposit is due six months prior to departure. Any booking made within six months of the departure date requires a 50 percent deposit. The balance is due on the date outlined in your contract, which is normally 45 days prior to departure.

Charter the Caribbean will accept personal checks, direct wire transfers, VISA or MasterCard for all deposits and final payments.

Due to the stringent cancellation policies of the charter industry, Charter the Caribbean only accepts VISA or MasterCard charges with a signed Credit Card Authorization.

Travel Insurance

Charter the Caribbean recommends that you protect your vacation investment by purchasing travel insurance.

We do not sell travel insurance but recommend using Insure My Trip to compare the most used options. Some yachts require travel insurance during hurricane season.

Confirmation of Charter Yacht Reservation

To receive confirmation of your charter yacht reservation, please return a copy of the signed Charter Agreement to Charter the Caribbean within three days of receipt.

Once a copy of your signed Charter Agreement and your Deposit Check or signed Credit Card Authorization are in our office, the yacht’s clearing house will issue a confirmation number for the yacht on the dates outlined in your Charter Agreement.
